Celebration of Life

Being inspired by a recent client of mine, I wanted to take the time to explain the relation between being pregnant and exercise. With the miracle of life, also comes some other physical and emotional stresses. Proper exercise can contribute to enhancing the health and well being of pregnant women.

Pregnant women should:

  • Stay HYDRATED
  • Keep intensity level of exercise at a MODERATE level
  • Avoid wearing clothing that is impermeable to water

Reason you should Discontinue:

  • Persistant contractions
  • Unexplained abdominal pain 
  • Insufficient weight gain
  • Severe headaches/visual disturbance/dizziness/faintness
  • Swelling, pain and redness in the calf of one leg
