There are many reasons as to why it is difficult for some women to lose those extra stubborn pounds. According to studies, when your immune system is working harder (inflammation) than usual, it may lead to weight gain. Inflammation can be caused by a lack of sleep, stress, exposure to toxins, and/or medical issues. Also, the foods you eat can be a trigger such as high saturated fats, and sugars. Researchers believe that inflammation can interfere with leptin levels.

In the average person, when body fat increases, leptin levels increase as well, which then speeds up metabolism and decrease appetite. But, in a heavier person, this signal gets lost and the body cannot regulate fat stores.

Healthy Treat-Cherry Banana Split
-Nonfat ricotta cheese
-Unsweetened coca powder
Put ricotta cheese into dish and place banana half on each side of cherries. Put walnuts on top and sprinkle coca powder over it. Drizzle cherry concentrate and enjoy 🙂
